He felt he needed to create a unique ramen that was different from others. Then one day, he felt unwell and went to the hospital, where the doctor told him, "Watch your diet. Chicken is good for you." Hearing these words, Tsutomu thought, "This is it!" From that day on, he started working on developing a chicken-based ramen soup, and after months of trial and error, he finally created a rich, full-bodied soup that had never been seen before. Since then, the word "kotteri" has become synonymous with Tenkaippin's chicken-based ramen.
